Nachklang is not a direct copy of Schumann’s music, but is more of a sophisticated way of perceiving and reflecting this intimate music. Often Schumman’s sound effects come to a standstill, of begin to rotate, so the listner is able to quietly contemplate them from different angles. This creates new perspectives and possibilities in the continuation of the dramatic thread. The music has very much a life of it’s own, but is always accompanied by Schumman’s musical language.
